Chess Education Foundation is a 501c3 chess charity that uses its resources to educate the community about chess. Chess benefits the community because it produces an environment where people can practice decision-making in a safe environment. They can then analyze their decisions to see where they went wrong. In life, decision-making can cost money, time, and harm relationships if people aren’t careful. Therefore, chess helps strengthen the community at the individual level by giving people the tools to improve themselves.
Contributions from the community will be used to grow our programs and expand outreach possibilities. We wish to increase the number of chess players in the area as much as possible. But this cannot happen without support from the community.
